On November 30th, 2019, Adam popped the question! I had no idea that he was planning on proposing, and I was so surprised when he did! We had planned a date to pick out our first Christmas tree together, so we went to the local Christmas Tree Farm which was the perfect setting for a perfect proposal. We rode the hay ride down to the tree field where we spent some time walking around looking for the right tree for us. Once we decided that we had found the perfect tree, Adam hugged me super tight and asked if I was sure that was the one I wanted. Little did I know that the hug was a secret signal to a photographer that Adam had hired to capture the moment! I had no idea! I asked Adam if I could see his phone so that I could take a picture of him cutting down our first Christmas tree, and while I thought he was fumbling around in his pocket for his phone.. he was actually fumbling arounf for a ring box! As he went to get down on one knee, I still had not seen the box and thought he was getting down to cut the tree. Once I realized what he was doing my mouth dropped open, and I could not believe what was happening! I was so shocked that asked him if he was serious a couple of times as he was giving his speech about how much he loved me and asking if I would marry him. Once he was finished talking, I SAID YES!
