On 9/10/11, Mike and Kandi set out to Mankato Minnesota to attend a concert of her favorite singer Miranda Lambert. They had dinner before the concert and Kandi kept telling Mike to fix his pants cause his pocket was bunched up.

Later that night while listening to the music, Kandi turned to Mike to find him holding a diamond ring. No words were needed. (Good thing because the music was so loud she would not have heard them.) She was so shocked and excited she just nodded yes and jumped to hug him. It was short and sweet but just perfect to Kandi.

Also, turns out that lumpy pocket was the ring. It was hidden inside a sunglass case Kandi's dad had givin Mike that morning to hide it in. (Because Mike was a gentleman and discussed his plans with him that morning.)
