In June 2017 I was away on a girls weekend with my friend Jo.  We went to the shore to "escape" for a few days.  April and May had been tough for me.  I lost my Dad in May.  On our last day at the shore, Jo's friend Melissa sent her a text.  She wanted to know if Jo knew any "nice women" that Melissa could set her daughter's boyfriends father (say that 3 times fast) up with.  Jo immediately gave Melissa my name.

It took almost a month before Shawn would text me, but finally he did.

Shawn is a recently single man after coming out of a 4 year relationship.  He is a homebody.  He is very comfortable staying at home watching TV. He is not very social.

Melissa contacted Shawn and provided him my cell number.  Shawn thought long and hard before reaching out to me.  Did he want to get into another relationship right now?  I sound like the complete opposite of him.  Finally, after much persuading from Melissa, Gabby and Tanner, Shawn sent me a text.  That first text came in on June 24, 2017.
